How do I make an appointment?

You can phone us at 03 925 8777 or fill out a patient registration form here and someone will reach out to you within 24 hours. ​

How long does the appointment last?

If it is your first time seeing us, initial appointments typically last 30 minutes. Follow-up appointments last between 10-15 minutes. ​

I am an Overseas patient

Please bring along your passport and any supporting visa documents you may have.

Please be aware that there may be extra charges for bloods and other labs depending on which visa you hold. ​

How can I reschedule my appointment?

Please call our office at 03 925 8777 ​to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We ask that you give at least 48hrs notice when rescheduling or canceling.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?​

Yes, you are always welcome to bring a support person to any appointment here at FemHealth.

I am trying to fall pregnant.

Whether this is the first time you are trying to conceive, or you would like to continue growing your family, we can offer management and treatment for infertility and pregnancy loss. ​

We can refer to obstetrics or a infertility centre as necessary

I am already pregnant and looking for an obstetrician (OB doctor)

Dr Lalloo is not currently practicing obstetrics, but if you are already her patient, she will provide you a referral.

Where are you located?

We are located on the 1st floor, Hiatt Cham​bers at St George's Hospital. Directions to our office can be found here .

Is there parking?

Yes, there is a paid patient/visitor parking garage in the hospital complex.

There is also 120min street parking on the surrounding residential streets. Please be mindful not to exceed the 120-minute limit as they do monitor parking in this area diligently.

Referrals

Do I need a referral from my GP?
-
No, we accept self referrals. ​

Fees

Our fees vary, please contact us for questions regarding appointment and procedure cost.

I have Southern Cross Insurance.

FemHealth is an affiliated provider to Southern Cross ​Health Insurance for selected services. Depending on your policy, there may be a shortfall due at the time of your appointment.

If you have provided us your membership number, we can determine if there will be any shortfall due at the time of your appointment. ​

​I have a private insurance other than Southern Cross.

We are not able to submit an invoice to your insurance company. You will be given a receipt at the time of payment to submit for reimbursment.

You are responsible for payment at the time of your appointment/procedure. ​

Operating Hours

What are your office hours?

We are open 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

We are closed Saturday - Sunday.

Are you reachable outside of normal office hours?

We try our best to answer your calls during office hours. Please leave a message at any time of the day, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Surgery

I have seen Dr Lalloo and we have decided I need to have surgery. What happens next?

Your hospital procedure will be done at St George's Hospital. ​

We will send you a quotation for the estimated procedure fees.

You will need to aquire pre-authorization from your insurance company before we can finalize your procedure booking.

If you do not have insurance, you will need to arrange for payment of your procedure prior to booking. We may require a deposit.

Our receptionist will communicate any necessary information regarding your theatre booking.

How much will my hospital procedure cost?​

Costs vary between procedures.

You will be sent a quotation for the approximate costs of the procedure prior to booking, which includes our fee, St George's hospital fee, and the anaesthetist's fee. ​​

Please note that before any procedure booking is initiated, you will need to be seen by our doctor for a consultation.
